Logan River Fly Fishing Report
I just fished the Logan a few days ago below 2nd dam and I was surprised. I only fished it for about an hour and a half and caught 5 and landed 4. The water level is high, but not as high as its been the past couple years. I used a stimulator with a copper john dropper. I caught all of them on the copper john except the last brown hit the stimmy. All browns and one cutthroat. The cutthroat was tagged.
I’m off to Colorado today and am hoping to get some good fishing in on one of the days. Never fished there so should be fun!

Thanks for the photos of the Fremont R. I will be traveling thru Utah in June on my way home to Idaho & want to stay over to decomp. Any suggestions for fly fishing the Fremont, i will stay w some friends in Beaver for a day or two.
The lower Fremont River is excellent. Unfortunately, most of it is on private land. The upper Fremont isn’t bad either though up toward Fish Lake. There are some other streams up there too that have some nice fish as well as some Tiger trout. I’m not as familiar yet with that area though, but I’m hoping to do some more fishing in that area this summer.
